Pick Up Line was a late scratching at 10.34am on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a right knee laceration. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Middle Chic was a late scratching at 10.50am due to non arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr W. Robertson was fined the sum of $100.  Stewards spoke to Mr W Robertson after he arrived on-course after the appointed closure of kennelling time.  After taking into consideration the circumstances outlined by Mr Robertson, Stewards lifted the penalty on Middle Chic and will revoke the $100 fine once Mr Robertson provides documentation supporting his explanation.

Ruby's Boy was slow to begin. Amanda Lee crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Spring Nugget.

Boopa Doop Girl and Zero Five were slow to begin. Oliver Cruise and Cash Or Card collided soon after the start. Anndar Amoree and Buck The Jockey collided at the 200m mark and again at the 150m mark checking Zero Five. Zero Five checked off Buck The Jockey approaching the winning post.

Sole Elusion was slow to begin. Cross Threaded and Perfect Rider collided soon after the start. Mayor Digby and Bill Heeny collided soon after the start and again at the 200m mark. Cross Threaded and Perfect Rider collided at the 100m mark checking Cross Threaded. Red Queen and Layback Cruiser collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr J. Webb, the representative of Lilywhites regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Lilywhites last raced on 26th August, 2018. Mr Webb stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a left groin injury. Mr Webb, trainer of Lilywhites declared a new weight of 26.9kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Lilywhites last raced at 25.6kgs.

Short Leash and Black Rose Texas collided soon after the start checking Bruree Girl. Short Leash and Iona Misty collided at the 200m mark and again at the 150m mark checking Short Leash. Ruby Gas and Iona Misty collided at the 100m mark.

Banjo Milne was a late scratching at 10.24am on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to dehydration. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Adala Prince, Mossy Oak and Crime Minister colllided soon after the start checking Crime Minister. Miss Crazy and Fruit Frames collided soon after the start. Fruit Frames and Crime Minister collided at the 300m mark. Miss Crazy and Crime Minister collided at the 250m mark checking Miss Crazy.

Stewards held the All Clear to view the video replay of the finish of this event and the distance between the Lure to the leading greyhound. After viewing both the patrol and head on footage stewards were satisfied that no greyhound was affected and the All Clear was given on the placings 6-1-2-3. Stewards spoke to Lure Driver Mr S. Courts in relation the matter.

Stewards contacted the TAB raceday control room after noting a delay on the payout for this event. Stewards established that the TAB were experiencing technical issues.

Destini Trucker and Lanis Morris collided soon after the start. Hungry Heart and Unexplainable collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Destini Trucker and Hungry Heart collided at the 250m mark.
