Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Superior Joyce, upon arrival at the course prior to kennelling.
Lonesome Spring was a late scratching at 10:46 am on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon, due to laceration injury. A five day stand down period was imposed.
A pre-race sample was taken from Select Minister.
Bush Blossom was quick to begin. Beanology and Select Minister collided soon after the start. Gunmetal Liam and Joanie's Johnny collided soon after the start. Superior Joyce and Early Storm collided approaching the 250m mark. Beanology and Select Minister collided at the 200m mark. Superior Joyce and Early Storm collided at the 200m mark. Beanology and Select Minister collided approaching the 150m mark. Beanology checked off Select Minister at the 150m mark, checking Joanie's Johnny and Gunmetal Liam. Early Storm checked off Bush Blossom at the 50m mark. Superior Joyce checked off Bush Blossom approaching the winning post.
The boxes failed to trip the timing mechanism for this event, as a result the Judges hand-timed the event at 16.99.
