Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr S. Coulson, the representative of Winlock Ludacris regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Winlock Ludacris last raced on 13-Apr-18. Mr Coulson stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following an illness.
Platelayer, Deano's Mojo and Middle Chic were slow to begin. Platelayer and Deano's Mojo collided soon after the start, checking Platelayer. Why Not Fletch, Elite Ollie and Deano's Mojo collided approaching the first turn, checking Elite Ollie. Deano's Mojo checked off Whiz on the first turn, checking Why Not Fletch. Why Not Fletch and Platelayer collided approaching the home turn, checking Why Not Fletch. Yoppi Allen checked off Middle Chic in the home straight. Whiz and Middle Chic collided in the home straight, checking Whiz.
Deano's Mojo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left paw and left pencil, and a spike wound to the left hind leg, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
