Yappy Allen was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left back muscle and left pencil, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Ms. Andrea Dailly, the trainer of the greyhound Yappy Allen regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Yappy Allen with marring. Ms. Dailly pleaded guilty to the charge, Yappy Allen was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr S. Coulson, the representative of Winlock Ludacris regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Winlock Ludacris last raced on 13-Apr-18. Mr Coulson stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following an illness.

Platelayer, Deano's Mojo and Middle Chic were slow to begin. Platelayer and Deano's Mojo collided soon after the start, checking Platelayer. Why Not Fletch, Elite Ollie and Deano's Mojo collided approaching the first turn, checking Elite Ollie. Deano's Mojo checked off Whiz on the first turn, checking Why Not Fletch. Deano's Mojo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left paw and left pencil, and a spike wound to the left hind leg, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr M. Bewley, trainer of Hotspur Joey declared a new weight of 37.0 kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Hotspur Joey last raced at 35.7 kgs.

Mr T. Dailly, representative of Dyna Hadria declared a new weight of 29.3 kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Dyna Hadria last raced at 28.0 kgs.

Panadero King and Lost Love collided soon after the start. Lost Love and Dyna Hadria collided soon after the start, checking Dyna Hadria. Striking Weetbix checked off Bomber's Baby approaching the first turn. Bomber's Baby and Rowchester Miss collided on the first turn, severely checking Bomber's Baby, which shifted out and collided with Striking Weetbix. Dyna Hadria and Rowchester Miss collided in the home straight.
