Steward's Report
Mr. P. Trim, trainer of Magic Euphoria declared a new weight of 27.5kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Magic Euphoria last raced at 26.4kgs.
Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Elliot, the trainer of Shirley Bass regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Shirley Bass last raced on 17th April 2018. Mr. Elliot stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right back muscle injury
A pre-race sample was taken from Shirley Bass.
Shirley Bass was quick to begin. Baggy's Request, Goorawin and Annaley Rooka were slow to begin. Annaley Rooka and Anita's Girl collided soon after the start. Shirley Bass checked off Mousey McCoy approaching the first turn. Goorawin and Annaley Rooka collided on the first turn.
Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Edwards regarding the direction that the greyhound Why Not Senor be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2), Stewards directed that the box first be removed.
