Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr David Condon, the trainer of Superior Beam, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Superior Beam last raced on 15 April 2018. Mr Condon stated that the greyhound was resuming following an injury to the left biceps femoris (thigh) muscle.
Krisbar Wee Wow and Northern Rocket were slow to begin.
Northern Rocket crossed to the outside soon after the start, checking Sebrof Road, Bela Natali and Shot Of Spice. Urzael Harbinger and Faye's Not Fazed collided at the 250m mark and again at the 200m mark. Northern Rocket and Bela Natali collided at the 100m mark.
Sebrof Road was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right latissimus dorsi muscle. A seven-day stand down period was imposed.
A sample was taken from Superior Beam, the winner of the event.
