The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Colorado and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 6.31pm due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer Mr. B.Harper was fined the sum of $100.

Dr. Compulsion trialled over 315 metres from box 3, weight 35.9kg, the greyhound was placed third in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 18.31 secs, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 8.25 lengths.  Dr. Compulsion was cleared.
