Due To Burn was quick to begin.
Aston Samson and Lady Bang Bang collided on the first turn checking Aston Samson which contacted the running rail as a result, severely checking Lady Bang Bang. Due To Burn and Why Not Bazzar collided on the home turn.
Aston Samson underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
A post-race sample was taken from Mustang Tully - the winner of the event.
