Abbey Siobhan was a late scratching at 10:27am after it was established Trainer Mr Bruce Wellington presented the incorrect greyhound at kennelling. Mr. Wellington was charged pursuant to GAR 31(1) and fined $250.

Just Harry and Zanti Man were slow to begin.

My Diamond Girl crossed to the inside soon after the start.  Zanti Man crossed to the outside.  Zanti Man and No Standing collided soon after the start.  Sin Dinero and Run Fast Maggie collided soon after the start.  Zanti Man and No Standing collided at the 150m mark.  Just Harry, Zanti Man and No Standing collided at the 100m mark checking No Standing.

Sunlit Toad, George Knockin' and No Problem John were slow to begin.  Flaming Fabio went up with the lids at boxrise and was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

George Knockin', No Problem John and Zipping Kay collided soon after the start.  Mum's The Word raced wide approaching the 200m mark and collided with Got Some Zip.  No Problem John and Zipping Kay collided at the 150m mark.  George Knockin' checked off Zipping Kay approaching the winning post causing Four Keeps to check off George Knockin'.

Ruby's Rosa and Don't Doubt Net were slow to begin.

Northern Moon and Ruth's Girl collided soon after the start.  Don't Doubt Net and Yenderra Bazza collided soon after the start.  Go Shirvo Go crossed to the outside soon after the start and collided with Don't Doubt Net and Yenderra Bazza.  Go Shirvo Go and Yenderra Bazza collided several times from the 250m mark to the 150m mark checking Yenderra Bazza.  Don't Doubt Net lost ground throughout the event.

Don't Doubt Net underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound and bruising to the right metacarpal. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Ian Anderson, the Trainer of Don't Doubt Net regarding its performance in this event. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Don't Doubt Net must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Clarence Clocka and Almapa Berisha were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.

Almapa Berisha and Inter Phillip collided soon after the start checking Almapa Berisha which stumbled as a result.  Bloke's Advice and Desiree Dancer collided several times from 200m mark to the 150m mark.  Clarence Clocka checked off Almapa Berisha approaching the 50m mark.

Stewards spoke to Mr Pasquale Derubeis, the Trainer of Almapa Berisha and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the 50m mark.

Rojo Ollie and Pacific Action collided soon after the start.  Chantilly Mack crossed to the outside soon after the start and collided with Spritely Too several times checking both greyhounds.  Rojo Ollie and Pacific Action collided at the 300m mark.  Queen Lita lost ground at the 150m mark.

Queen Lita underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hind hip injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Superior Pal, Gin Lee's Dream and Superior Briz were slow to begin.

Gin Lee's Dream faltered at the 300m mark and lost ground.  Superior Pal and Superior Briz collided approaching the 200m mark checking both greyhounds.  Inter Lana, Superior Sam and Ryben Jack collided at the 100m mark.  

Gin Lee's Dream underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to both wrists and the right monkey muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

This event was approximately 2 minutes behind scheduled due to preparation delays in the kennel block.

Run Fast Bonnie was quick to begin.

Total Diva and Run Fast Bonnie collided soon after the start.  Penny La Moment checked off Run Fast Bonnie soon after the start.  Manila Sprite and Mega Mckayla collided at the 300m mark.  Tashendo and Run Fast Bonnie collided at the 300m mark.  Meehan Bazz, Manila Sprite and Mega Mckayla collided approaching the 250m mark.  Tashendo checked off Run Fast Bonnie at the 250m mark.  Total Diva and Bank Rogue collided approaching the 200m mark.  Total Diva and Bank Rogue collided approaching the winning post.

North Wind was slow to begin.

Kireina checked off Hot Fiasco soon after the start.  Just Talking checked off Challis Magic at the 300m mark.

Shirdale Casey and Mumma's Bear were slow to begin.

Agent Voilet and Iona Misty collided at the 250m mark.  Mumma's Bear and Qatar Girl collided at the 50m mark.

A post-race sample was taken from Zipping Caesar - the winner of the event.

Racecourse Road, Blonde Bella and Doran's Grove collided soon after the start.  Madame Duggie and Dan's Hopeful collided at the 250m mark.

Steward's spoke to the handler of Blonde Bella, Mr Ian Anderson and reminded him of his responsibilities regarding his tardiness in boxing the greyhound GAR 51 (9).

Black Pocket was slow to begin.

Cataleya, Lucky Love and Hardaway Outlaw collided soon after the start checking Crash Reality.  Blackhawk Parker and Bourbon An Kahn collided approaching the 200m mark checking Bourbon An Kahn.  Black Pocket and Crash Reality collided at the 200m mark and again several times from the 150m mark to the 50m mark.  

Miss Pepperoni – Late scratching at 10:30am due to non-arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Mr Gordon Edwards informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown this morning. Stewards have advised Mr Edwards that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 48 hours of the occurrence that caused the non-arrival. The matter will be re-evaluated upon receipt of this evidence. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Dargo Dasher.

Pacific Secret and Black Eclipse collided at the 250m mark.  Wackadooka crossed to the rail at the 50m mark checking Black Eclipse and Pacific Secret.

Meeting Comments:

Due to on course internet issues there was no split photo available for the race meeting. The split time and first split placing were taken using the Finish Lynx timer and Top Cat vision. There are no further split placings/margins recorded for this meeting.

Satisfactory Trials

Zipping Alvin – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial as the greyhound has not competed in an event for in excess of six months due to a stopper bone injury. Weighing 28.4kg and beginning from box 1, Zipping Alvin completed the 300m trial distance in a time of 17.72. Zipping Alvin placed 4th in a field of 4 of starters beaten by 7.75 lengths.  Zipping Alvin has not been cleared to race. Stewards were not satisfied with the greyhound's performance from the 150m mark.

Zipping Alvin underwent a post trial veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Major Nippa – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial as the greyhound has not competed in an event for in excess of six months due to injuries to both back muscles and a monkey muscle. Weighing 32.8kg and beginning from box 7, Major Nippa completed the 300m trial distance in a time of 17.18. Major Nippa placed 1st in a field of 4 starters winning by 2 lengths. Major Nippa has been cleared to race.

Supplementary Report 25/6/19 - The 28 day stand down was removed from Miss Pepperoni following production of a vehicle break down certificate.
