A pre-race sample was taken from Dyna Zaylee.
Queena Bale was quick to begin. Front Page News and Chase's Entity were slow to begin.
Dyna Zaylee and One Thrill collided soon after the start. Front Page News and Chase's Entity collided approaching the first turn. Chase's Entity and One Thrill collided on the first turn checking One Thrill who raced wide as a result. Nella Bale and Idria Bale collided on the first turn and again on the home turn, Idria Bale faltered and lost ground as a result. Chase's Entity and Dyna Zaylee collided in the home straight.
Idria Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle, right deltoid and right trapezius muscle injuries. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
