Steward's Report
Following the running of this event, the judge initially posted 7 as the winner and 5 as the second placegetter on the semaphore board. This was corrected to 1-8-5-7 prior to the All Clear being given.
A pre race sample was taken from Lucky Luna.
Blackpool Floss shifted in soon after the start colliding with Lucky Luna and checking Calcaneal. Temporalis and Amanda Lee collided soon after the start. Lucky Luna galloped on Atlantic Jewel approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Lucky Luna checked off Amanda Lee on the first turn checking Atlantic Jewel and Calcaneal.
A sample was taken from Temporalis - the winner of the event.
Atlantic Jewel was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound, no stand down period was imposed.
