Ballymac Pirate was quick to begin.  Akina Indie was very slow to begin (4 lengths).  Akina Spot crossed in soon after the start checking Akina Spice and Edna Betts.  Ballymac Pirate checked off Once A Secret on the first turn.  Jaguar Jessie and Ballymac Pirate collided approaching the home turn checking Ballymac Pirate.  Akina Indie checked off Akina Spice on the home turn causing Akina Indie to race wide as a result.  Akina Indie raced wide in the home straight.  Jaguar Jessie and Akina Spot collided in the home straight.  Jaguar Jessie, Once A Secret and Akina Spot collided approaching the winning post.

Egoline Zeb and Soda Maxi were quick to begin.  Jonathan's Rose was slow to begin.  Hot Pies checked off Velocity Dory approaching the first turn.  Egoline Zeb and Velocity Dory collided on the first turn checking Egoline Zeb.  Soda Maxi and Egoline Zeb collided approaching the home turn checking Egoline Zeb and Jonathan's Rose.

Egoline and Titanium Boy were quick to begin.  Akina Error was slow to begin.  Titanium Boy, Secret Of Mine and Rosie Glenda collided approaching the first turn checking Titanium Boy and Secret Of Mine severely checking Rosie Glenda.

Premier Sticka was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left monkey muscle injury and bruising to the left hind calf muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to the Mr. W. Vassallo the representative of Panhandle Slim regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Panhandle Slim last raced on 29th September, 2018.  Mr. Vassallo stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a right hock injury.

Straitline Willy was slow to begin.  Dr. Leonardo faltered and lost ground approaching the first turn.  Ninetymile Turbo crossed in approaching the first turn checking Little Black Joe.  Garrido and Little Black Joe collided on the first turn.  Panhandle Slim crossed in on the first turn checking Velocity Whisper.  Garrido and Little Black Joe collided on the first turn checking Garrido.
