Stewards spoke to Mr R. Drew, the trainer of Fake It regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Fake It last raced on 19-Sep-18. Mr Drew stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a change of kennel. Mr Drew declared a new weight of 31.2 kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).Fake It last raced at 29.9 kgs.
Nick's Never and Thomeli Tash collided on the first turn checking Nick's Never. Zipping Chance, Zipping Cisco, Fake It and Middle Chic collided on the first turn checking Zipping Cisco. Zipping Cisco checked off Zipping Chance approaching the home turn. Zipping Chance and Fake It collided on the home turn checking Fake It. Zipping Cisco, Zipping Chance and Fake It collided in the home straight checking all three greyhounds.
