Sabjorn Bale and Kalani Willow collided approaching the home turn. Speedy Scar and My Mandara collided in the home straight checking both greyhounds. Kalani Willow raced wide in the home straight.

Speedy Scar was vetted at the trainers request following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left hind toe, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Kalani Willow a post race sample was subsequently taken.

A sample was taken from Zoom Out  - the winner of the event.

A pre race sample was taken from Bomber Creek.

Stewards spoke to Mr. B Divirgilio the trainer of She’s An Earn, regarding the scratching of the greyhound. Acting in accordance with GAR 20 (3)(v) Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Azure Dragon was a late scratching at 4:49 PM on Veterinary advice (GAR 37)(fleas). A 0 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance, before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Star Boy was a late scratching at 4:48 PM due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. C. Redenbach was fined the sum of $100.

The start of the event was delayed approximately 1 minute due to the greyhounds arriving at the boxes late.

Stewards spoke to Mr R. Drew, the trainer of Fake It regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Fake It last raced on 19-Sep-18. Mr Drew stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a change of kennel. Mr Drew declared a new weight of 31.2 kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).Fake It last raced at 29.9 kgs.

Nick's Never and Thomeli Tash collided on the first turn checking Nick's Never. Zipping Chance, Zipping Cisco, Fake It and Middle Chic collided on the first turn checking Zipping Cisco. Zipping Cisco checked off Zipping Chance approaching the home turn. Zipping Chance and Fake It collided on the home turn checking Fake It. Zipping Cisco, Zipping Chance and Fake It collided in the home straight checking all three greyhounds.
