Steward's Report
An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Got It Right, engaged in this event, on 25/10/18 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Etiquette was a late scratching at 8.44am due to illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. Stewards inquired into the bonafides of the late scratching of Etiquette with trainer Mr John Delaroche. After hearing submissions about the circumstances of the late scratching, the Stewards were satisfied that Mr Delaroche had fulfilled his obligations under GAR 23 and no further action was taken.
Jakesta and Got It Right were quick to begin. Party Mix and Dorset Dasha were slow to begin.
Jakesta, Slingshot Maxi, Mousey McCoy and Got It Right collided soon after the start, checking Got It Right. Jakesta, Slingshot Maxi and Dorset Dasha raced wide on the home turn. Got It Right and Dorset Dasha collided entering the home straight.
