Still Quick and Callister collided soon after the start. Lektra Caution checked off She Will Bloom soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Flash Fernando brushed the running rail approaching the first turn. Lektra Caution, Tessa Allen and Xela Allen collided approaching the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Flash Fernando checked off She Will Bloom on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Still Quick checked off She Will Bloom approaching the second turn causing Still Quick and Xela Allen to collide checking Still Quick.
Still Quick was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
A post-race sample was taken from Callister - winner of the event.
