Steward's Report
Lektra Swank, Lektra Swing and Max Dancer collided soon after the start. Limburg Will and Franki Jay collided soon after the start. Nicmac Paddywack, Lacko Allen and Lucy's Milo collided approaching the first turn checking Lacko Allen. Franki Jay checked off Lacko Allen on the first turn. Franki Jay checked off Max Dancer approaching the second turn. Lektra Swing checked off Lektra Swank approaching the second turn. Nicmac Paddywack and Lacko Allen collided approaching the second turn. Lektra Swing and Max Dancer collided entering the back straight. Nicmac Paddywack and Lacko Allen collided entering the back straight. Lektra Swing and Franki Jay collided on the home turn. Nicmac Paddywack and Lacko Allen collided on the home turn. Max Dancer was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the right hind foot, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr B. Bravo, the trainer of the greyhound Max Dancer regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Max dancer with marring. Mr Bravo pleaded not guilty to the charge, Max Dancer was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Meadows and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a)before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from Lucy's Milo - winner of the event.
