Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Peter Stefanos, the trainer of Berridale Buddie regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Berridale Buddie last raced on 17th January 2018.Mr Stefanos stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a triangle injury. Stewards noted that Berridale Blue ran a satisfactory trial on 20th September at Shepparton and was cleared.
Stewards spoke to Mr J. Arthur, the trainer of Buzz Off Sally regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Buzz Off Sally last raced on 13 July, 2018. Mr Arthur stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a spell.
A pre race sample was taken from Berridale Buddie.
Buzz Off Sally was slow to begin. Blackhawk Parker, Miss Travers and Mini Sticka collided soon after the start. Blackhawk Parker and Mini Sticka collided approaching the first turn. Buzz Off Sally contacted the running rail approaching the first turn and lost ground as a result. Blackhawk Parker and Mini Sticka collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn. Berridale Buddie clipped the heels of Miss Travers entering the home straight checking Berridale Buddie. Beriidale Buddie and Dyna Ianto collided in the home straight.
Buzz Off Sally was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained bruising to the left shoulder. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Track Curator Mr B. Groom advised stewards that the track was medium harrowed on 12 October 2018.
