For You Honey and Lil' Miss Willow were slow to begin. Final Chimes and For You Honey collided on the second turn and again on the third turn checking Final Chimes. Lil' Miss Willow and Miss Tatts collided approaching the home turn checking For You Honey and Lil' Miss Willow. For You Honey veered in and marred Lil' Miss Willow from entering the home straight to the winning post severely hampering Lil' Miss Willow causing For You Honey and Lil' Miss Willow to tail off.
For You Honey was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Stewards spoke to Ms. K. Thorburn the trainer of the greyhound For You Honey regarding the greyhound's racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under GAR69(1) Stewards charged For You Honey with marring. Ms. Thorburn pleaded guilty to the charge, For You Honey was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Traralgon and it was directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Final Chimes was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr. P. Read the representative of the greyhound Final Chimes regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the third turn.
