Steward's Report
Mr. O. McGovern the representative for Enhanced Power declared a new weight of 33.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Enhanced Power last raced at 31.4kg.
Zipping Brandy was quick to begin. Hurricane Craig was slow to begin. Aston Jynx was checked off Able approaching the first turn checking Alpanda. Rare Gem and Aston Jynx collided approaching the home turn. Zipping Brandy and Enhanced Power collided on the home turn. Enhanced Power cramped approaching the winning post and subsequently fell in the catching pen.
Enhanced Power was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound cramped, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. O. McGovern the representative for Enhanced Power. Acting in accordance with GAR 71(cramp) Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a satisfactory trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
