Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Sobered Up (late Pistol Nite).
The start time for this event was delayed by 1.5 minutes in order to hold for Te Aroha gallops.
Mepunga Dasha and Sobered Up collided at 300m mark and again at the 250m mark. Mepunga Dasha and One Plus Two collided approaching the 150m mark causing One Plus Two to falter and lose ground.
One Plus Two was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left tensor fascia (triangle) muscle. A 21-day stand down period was imposed.
