Due To Burn was quick to begin. Equals Two was slow to begin.
Dyna Dixon and Chase To Wyn collided soon after the start. Dyna Naya and Dyna Hannah collided approaching the first turn, checking Dyna Hannah. Dyna Naya contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground as a result. Dyna Naya and Dyna Hannah collided approaching the home turn, severely checking Dyna Naya. Due To Burn and Chase To Wyn collided several times in the home straight checking both greyhounds.
Dyna Naya was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abraded left carpal (stopper) pad. A five-day stand down period was imposed.
