Dusty Express was slow to begin.  Grande Fratello and Yuken Pay Me collided approaching the first turn.  Macalister Cindy, Dusty Express  and Dreamliner collided on the first turn.  Akina Ivy and Akina Spice collided on the first turn checking Akina Ivy.  Macalister Cindy and Dusty Express collided approaching the home turn causing Dusty Express to stumble.  Dusty Express faltered in the home straight and subsequently pulled up.

Dusty Express was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a small spike wound to the left foot and cramping, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Richer, the trainer of the greyhound Dusty Express.  Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp), Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Colour My World, Professor Gold and Super Fay were slow to begin.  Akina Willow checked off Macs Road soon after the start.  Broken Pieces checked off Macs Road on the first turn.  Akina Willow checked off Professor Gold on the first turn.  Colour My World checked off Super Fay entering the home straight.  Macs Road and Zipping Kiera collided in the home straight.

Hip Hippy Shake was slow to begin.  Audacious Grace checked off Fernando's Boy soon after the start checking Hip Hippy Shake.  Superior Indi and Fernando's Boy collided on the first turn checking Superior Indi.  Hip Hippy Shake contacted the running rail on the first turn checking Hip Hippy Shake.  Wears Woodleigh and Almani Jet collided on the home turn.  Almani Jet crossed in approaching the winning post checking Fernando's Boy.

Dr. Pixie, Captain Jackie and Dr. Zammit were slow to begin.  Dr. Pixie checked off Rickett's Point on the first turn.  Velocity Anifrid and Jokare collided on the first turn.  Rickett's Point checked off Jokare approaching the home turn.

Photo Finish was unable to capture an image for this event due to a computer error.  Placings were confirmed by the Judge and Stewards observations and the  use of the back up systems.

Akina Blitz was slow to begin.  Shooters Ali, Akina Blitz and Spin The Trolley collided soon after the start.  Mega McKayla crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Sapphire Power, Where's Lachie and Bush Song.  Spin The Trolley checked off Shooters Ali approaching the second turn.  Bush Song checked off Where's Lachie on the second turn.  Sapphire Power, Owlette and Mega McKayla collided entering the home straight.

Stewards noted that the incorrect race number was semaphored for this event.   Race 4 was displayed when it should have been Race 5.

Supa Pass and Lakeview Maisey were slow to begin.  Silvio Dante and Beau Gem collided approaching the first turn checking Beau Gem.  Silvio Dante, Zipping Dash and Perrie Lulu collided on the first turn checking Silvio Dante and Zipping Dash.  Supa Pass and Zipping Dash collided on the first turn checking Zipping Dash.  Lakeview Maisey raced wide in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Buddy Blinx.

Buddy Blinx and Lyka Skywalker were slow to begin.  Buddy Blinx clipped the heels of Take Home Sadie on the first turn causing Take Home Sadie to fall severely checking Buddy Blinx.

Take Home Sadie was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

A sample was taken from Firefly Nuts - the winner of the event.

Humble And Kind was slow to begin.  Ocean View, Our Delta Rose and Doc's Reward collided on the first turn.  Our Delta Rose, Swanny Flyer and Taabinga Flash collided entering the back straight checking Swanny Flyer.  Monster Jam Jack, Our Delta Rose and Doc's Reward collided on the second turn.  Monster Jam Jack, Swanny Flyer and Taabinga Flash collided approaching the home turn.

Daicos, Select All, Potere and Blue Tornado were slow to begin.  Daicos and Colorado collided soon after the start checking Daicos.  Colorado and Valencia Gem collided on the first turn checking Select All.  Valencia Gem and Saetta collided on the first turn checking Valencia Gem.  Sneak Preview and Saetta collided approaching the home turn checking Sneak Preview.  Daicos and Valencia Gem collided approaching the home turn.  Daicos and Potere collided on the home turn.  Potere, Valencia Gem and Select All collided entering the home straight checking Select All.

Saetta was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right metatarsal injury, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Mrs. J. McMahon, representative of Dr. Leonardo declared a new weight of 33.0kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Dr. Leonardo last raced at 31.0kgs.

A pre-race sample was taken from Rockin' Rico.

Dr. Walter, Rockin' Rico and Dr. Darkrai were slow to begin.

Adonis Rose was vetted prior to the event at the Trainers request, it was reported that the greyhound was found to have a small mouth abrasion and was passed fit to race.

Flash Frankie and Adonis Rose were slow to begin.  Sooky Jooky, Garrido and Dat Dat Daty collided soon after the start.  Sooky Jooky and Garrido collided approaching the first turn checking Garrido.  Flash Frankie and Mutant collided on the first turn.  Garrido clipped the heels of Dat Dat Daty on the first turn.  Mutant galloped on Adonis Rose approaching the home turn.  Flash Frankie and Mutant collided on the home turn checking Flash Frankie, Mutant and Sooky Jooky.  Sooky Jooky raced wide in the home straight.

Mr. J. Bowman was fined the sum of $50 for failing to ensure the greyhound's identification card was produced for the greyhound Zipping Yoda pursuant to GAR 33.

A pre-race sample was taken from Maverick Typhoon.

Meehan Roy, Maverick Typhoon and Zipping Yoda were slow to begin.  Macalister Mac, Mac and Macalister Tiger collided soon after the start checking Mac.  Hundred, Fairy Vixen, Macalister Mac and Macalister Tiger collided on the first turn.  Mac checked off Macalister Mac on  the first turn.  Maverick Typhoon checked off Macalister Mac approaching the home turn.  Meehan Roy and Maverick Typhoon collided on the home turn checking Maverick Typhoon.

MEETING COMMENTS:

Satisfactory Trial Results - Another Shiner trialled over the 440m from box 1, weight 28.6kgs,  the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 25.40, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 5.75 lengths.  Another Shiner was Cleared.

SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT ~ Warragul GRC Meeting Tuesday 11 September 2018 Race 6. 

Trainer Mr R Keating presented the greyhound Wadelock Sampson at tonight’s meeting  to be vetted as requested by Stewards. The greyhound was vetted and was found to have a left back muscle injury, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.
