Steward's Report
Wild Vane was slow to begin.
Spot On Mick crossed to the inside soon after the start colliding with Offaly Black, Pectoralis and Inter Cody. Winlock Shakey and Spring Nugget collided approaching the 300m mark. Pectoralis and Spot On Mick collided at the 300m mark. Winlock Shakey and Inter Santini collided at the 200m mark. Winlock Shakey checked off Spring Nugget approaching the 100m mark checking Spring Nugget. Offaly Black checked off Pectoralis approaching the 100m mark checking Offaly Black.
A sample was taken from Inter Cody - the winner of the event.
Stewards opened an Inquiry into an escaped greyhound from the vicinity of the carpark area which ran on the outside of the track to the 350m boxes following the running of Event 3. Stewards took evidence from GRV Steward - Ms D Barber and licensed persons - Messrs B Ender and D Pryce. Stewards adjourned this matter to a date and time to be fixed to allow Stewards to consider the evidence tendered before them.
