Dyna Garner and Kayda Knight were quick to begin.  Cullquin Bronn, Kid Lavros and Invictus Coco were slow to begin.

Chill Out Indy and Flash Fernando collided soon after the start checking Flash Fernando.  Chill Out Indy, Flash Fernando and Kid Lavros collided on the first turn checking Flash Fernando and Kid Lavros.  Cullquin Bronn and Kid Lavros collided entering the back straight checking Kid Lavros.  Patrick Francis and Kayda Knight collided approaching the home turn.

A pre-race sample was taken from Mahoney Miss upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.

Celestial Jewel and Mahoney Miss were quick to begin.

Kintamani checked off Romanova on the first turn.  Romanova and Zipping Keely collided entering the front straight checking Zipping Keely.  Inga Ross contacted the running rail on the second turn and collided with But What For.  Romanova checked off Celestial Jewel on the third turn.  Celestial Jewel and Zipping Keely collided entering the back straight checking Celestial Jewel and Romanova.

Inga Ross was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left back muscle and left sartorius injuries, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Zipping Keely was vetted following a fall in the catching pen.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the right hind hock, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Laile Brobio upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.

Laile Brobio and Dundee Jitterbug collided soon after the start.  Classy Aussie and Nigel Allen collided soon after the start checking Nigel Allen.  Laile Brobio, Dundee Jitterbug and Stevie Dee collided on the first turn checking Stevie Dee.  Laile Brobio and Dundee Jitterbug collided on the first turn and again approaching the second turn.  Stevie Dee and Rapid Belle Noir collided on the second turn causing Rapid Belle Noir to contact the running rail and tailed off.

Rapid Belle Noir was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left chest muscle injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Sisco Ride, Another Bling and Aston It Is collided on the first turn checking Aston It Is.  Another Bling and Aston It Is collided on the first turn checking Another Bling.  Fast Izzi and Aston It Is collided on the fourth turn checking Fast Izzi, Another Bling and Aston It Is.  Fast Izzi , Aston It Is and Vrontios collided entering the home straight checking Aston It Is. 

Lochinvar Deus, Bound After Gold and Winlock Dyno collided soon after the start checking Bound After Gold.  Irinka Jenna and Lochinvar Deus collided approaching the first turn checking Irinka Jenna.  Blusain Bolt and Winlock Dyno collided on the first turn checking Blusain Bolt and Bound After Gold.  Bound After Gold and Irinka Jenna collided on the third turn checking Irinka Jenna.

Mick's Advice, Summer Skye and So Amazing collided soon after the start checking Summer Skye and So Amazing.  Oronsay and Uringa collided soon after the start checking Oronsay.  Duna Terror, Lockrod and Oronsay collided on the first turn checking Oronsay and Hoo Gur Affair.  Summer Skye and So Amazing collided approaching the second turn.  Dyna Terror checked off Lockrod on the second turn.  Lockrod checked off So Amazing entering the back straight.

Cheeky Cindy and Aron Allen collided soon after the start checking Aron Allen and Broadway Polka.  Broadway Polka and My Boy Joey collided on the first turn checking My Boy Joey.  Star Fever checked off Go Slow Goldy approaching the second turn.  My Boy Joey checked off Aron Allen on the third turn.  My Boy Joey veered out and marred Aron Allen entering the home straight.  Aron Allen and My Boy Joey collided several times in the home straight.

My Boy Joey was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr R. Camilleri, the representative of the greyhound My Boy Joey regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged My Boy Joey with marring. Mr Camilleri pleaded guilty to the charge, My Boy Joey was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Meadows and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Lady Christina, Weeona Dino and Con Rad collided approaching the first turn checking Weeona Dino, Lady Christina and Wise Lewis.  Pat Malone and Con Rod collided on the first turn checking Con Rod and Zipping Jacy.  Wise Lewis and Weeona Dino collided on the first turn checking Wise Lewis and Lady Christina.  Wise Lewis and Molly Chapta collided approaching the third turn checking Molly Chapta.

Naughty Cazza was a late scratching at 11:12am due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24).  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Mrs E. Palma, the representative of Vixstar declared a new weight of 32.4kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Vixstar last raced at 30.8kgs.

Caribbean Red was slow to begin.

Clovally Granite, Yuko, Slingshot Jayla, Vixstar and Loch Tight collided approaching the first turn checking Slingshot Jayla and Vixstar.  Slingshot Jayla and Vixstar collided on the first turn checking Slingshot Jayla, Caribbean Red, Vixstar and Karise Fusileer.  Caribean Red checked off Clovally Granite on the second turn.  Yuko, Caribbean Red and Vixstar collided approaching the home turn.  Clovally granite and Caribbean Red collided entering the home straight checking Caribbean Red.  Clovally Granite and Vixstar collided in the home straight checking Clovally Granite. 

Trainer Mr J. Galea requested Karise Fusileer be vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left hind toe, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
