Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Chill Out Webby upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Pursuant to GAR 104(6) Lure Driver Mr C. Chilcott did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Chill Out Webby and Go Slow Goldy were quick to begin.
Cheeky Cindy and Aron Allen collided soon after the start checking Aron Allen and Broadway Polka. Broadway Polka and My Boy Joey collided on the first turn checking My Boy Joey. Star Fever checked off Go Slow Goldy approaching the second turn. My Boy Joey checked off Aron Allen on the third turn. My Boy Joey veered out and marred Aron Allen entering the home straight. Aron Allen and My Boy Joey collided several times in the home straight.
My Boy Joey was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr R. Camilleri, the representative of the greyhound My Boy Joey regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged My Boy Joey with marring. Mr Camilleri pleaded guilty to the charge, My Boy Joey was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Meadows and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
