A pre-race sample was taken from Laile Brobio upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
A pre-race sample was taken from Morpheus.
Pursuant to GAR 104(6) Lure Driver Mr C. Chilcott did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Morpheus was slow to begin.
Laile Brobio and Dundee Jitterbug collided soon after the start. Classy Aussie and Nigel Allen collided soon after the start checking Nigel Allen. Laile Brobio, Dundee Jitterbug and Stevie Dee collided on the first turn checking Stevie Dee. Laile Brobio and Dundee Jitterbug collided on the first turn and again approaching the second turn. Stevie Dee and Rapid Belle Noir collided on the second turn causing Rapid Belle Noir to contact the running rail and tailed off.
Rapid Belle Noir was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left chest muscle injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
