A pre-race sample was taken from She's My Blast.
Early Special and Enchanting Image collided soon after the start and again at the 150m mark. Enchanting Image and Xan Mai collided at the 100m mark. Xan Mai checked off Early Special approaching the winning post.
One Plus Two was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left pencil muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
