Major Style checked off Macs Model at the 200m mark. Hot Cruiser and Major Style collided at the 150m mark. Hot Cruiser checked off Macs Model at the 150m mark. Shelbourne Bezza and Major Style collided at the 100m mark. Shelbourne Bezza checked off Hot Cruiser at the 50m mark. Hot Cruiser checked off Macs Model approaching the winning post.

Pandora's Glory and Henessey Venom collided soon after the start. Major Innings and Mia Tesoro collided soon after the start checking Runnin' Rampage. Toonang checked off Runnin' Rampage at the 300m mark. Toonang crossed to the outside at the 250m mark checking Pandora's Glory which stumbled and lost ground 

Pandora's Glory was vetted and after being re-vetted following Race 7, it was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Wadelock Mindy was quick to begin.

Croucher and Samba King collided soon after the start checking Croucher. Newfire Drewie crossed to the outside at the 250m mark checking Banjo Milne. Striker Vardy and High Tale collided at the 250m mark checking Striker Vardy. Articus and High Tale collided at the 150m mark. Newfire Drewie crossed in at the 150m mark checking Banjo Milne, High Tale and Striker Vardy and severely checking Articus; Samba King was checked as a result. Articus and Samba King collided at the 50m mark.

Articus was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right monkey muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Bourbon An Kahn was slow to begin.

Wadelock Simpson checked off Early Express soon after the start. Johnnie Red and Love Laughing collided at the 100m mark.

Amlin Miss, Invictus Lawless and Smudger Smiff collided soon after the start. Amlin Miss, Invictus Lawless, Smudger Smiff and Scooby Boy collided several times at the 300m mark checking Smudger Smiff and Scooby Boy. Amlin Miss and Invictus Lawless collided several times from the 150m mark to the 100m mark severely checking Vandebay. Amlin Miss and Scooby Boy collided approaching the winning post checking Amlin Miss.

Rhomboid and Last Outlaw were slow to begin.

Last Outlaw checked off Cavernando soon after the start. Rhomboid and Sideshow Marjen collided several times soon after the start. Last Outlaw checked off Rhomboid approaching the 250m mark and lost ground as a result. Cavernando and Poise collided approaching the 250m mark. Bloke's Advice and Cavernando collided several times at the 250m mark. Cavernando and Poise collided at the 50m mark. Rhomboid checked off South Of Eden approaching the winning post.

Sonny Micawber and Girt By Sea were slow to begin.

Gotta Jump Start and Dyna Jules collided at the 250m mark and again at the 200m mark. Newfire Chelle and Miss Dangerwood collided approaching the 150m mark. Miss Luna Girl checked off Girt By Sea at the 150m mark.

Early Special and Enchanting Image collided soon after the start and again at the 150m mark. Enchanting Image and Xan Mai collided at the 100m mark. Xan Mai checked off Early Special approaching the winning post.

One Plus Two was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left pencil muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Renegade stumbled at box rise and was very slow to begin (6L).

Oliver Cruise and Down Mexico Way collided at the 250m mark. Red Queen clipped the heels of Cloverlay at the 100m mark.

Renegade was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr C. Dalton, the representative for Maggie Mikado regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Maggie Mikado last raced on 6th August 2018 and is returning to racing following a right hind leg injury. Mr Dalton also declared a new weight of 28.3kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Maggie Mikado last raced at 29.4kg.
