Vineyard and Chief Bronie collided soon after the start checking Vineyard. Soda Maxi crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Aston Mambo, Brindle Delight and I'll Swap Ya. Hurricane Cindy and Doc Meaney collided approaching the first turn. Brindle Delight checked off Vineyard on the first turn and stumbled as a result. Brindle Delight and Chief Bronie collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. Brindle Delight and Vineyard collided in the home straight checking Vineyard.
