Steward's Report
Acting on a confirmed phone call, Secret Of Mine was a late scratching at 3:00 pm due to illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a Veterinary Certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Pursuant to GAR 104 (6), Parade Steward Ms. A. Delaney did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Stewards spoke to Ms. M. Toner, the trainer of Canterbury regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Canterbury last raced on 24th March, 2018. Mr. Toner stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a spell.
Doble Estandar and Spritely Mac collided approaching the first turn. Gee Dalton crossed to the rail on the first turn causing Pinky Tuscadero, Spritely Mac and Major Amor to collide checking Pinky Tuscadero and severely checking Doble Estandar, Spritely Mac and Major Amor.
