Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Run The Route.
Tempered was quick to begin. Three Fifty One was slow to begin. Bula Bang Bang and Goodbye Goldie collided approaching the first turn checking Bula Bang Bang. It's A Trick and Goodbye Goldie collided on the first turn checking Goodbye Goldie and severely checking It's A Trick which became unbalanced and collided with White Fernando; White Fernando and It's A Trick were checked and raced wide as a result.
White Fernando was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Divirgilio, the trainer of Tempered regarding the greyhound's improved performance in this event. Mr. Divirgilio stated that he had given the greyhound a short spell which he felt had allowed the greyhound to mature. Stewards accepted Mr. Divirgilio's explanation and directed that a sample be taken from the greyhound, winner of the this event.
