Steward's Report
Ayo Joy was slow to begin.
Zipping Galon and Ayo Joy collided approaching the first turn. Chill Out Chirs, Double Ya Back and Pocket Dial collided approaching the first turn. Pocket Dial, Zipping Galon and Double Ya Back collided heavily on the first turn, causing Zipping Galon and Ayo Joy to race wide. Chill Out Chris which raced in restricted room made contact with Why Not Kylie on the home turn. Zipping Galon checked off Why Not Kylie on the home turn.
Chill Out Chris was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left gracilis (back) muscle. A seven-day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr Michael Chilcott, the trainer of Chill Out Chris, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the home turn. After deliberation, Stewards opted to place an official warning on Chill Out Chris' racing manners.
