Trium and Katlin were slow to begin. Popowski and Dutch Legacy collided approaching the first turn. No Excuse, Crump's Princess and Mepunga Bella collided approaching the first turn, checking Crump's Princess. No Excuse, Crump's Princess and Katlin collided on the first turn, checking Crump's Princess and Katlin. Popowski, Trium and Cette To Dance collided on the first turn, checking Trium and Cette To Dance. Popowski crossed to the outside approaching the second turn, and collided with Crump's Princess and Katlin.
Cette To Dance was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right wrist, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
