Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr Michael Myer, the trainer of Onya Teddy regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Onya Teddy last raced on 20 Jan 18. Mr Meyer stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a back injury.
A pre race sample was taken from Dazzling Liesel.
Onya Teddy and Gin Lee's Bullet collided approaching the first turn, causing Onya Teddy to stumble and lose ground. Zipping Oliver, Gin Lee's Bullet and Dazzling Liesel collided on the first turn, checking Zipping Oliver. Bageera, Zipping Oliver and Mr. Moonlight raced wide in the home straight.
Onya Teddy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a torn dewclaw to the right foreleg, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
