Lady Bystander was slow to begin. Oakmont Fury was very slow to begin (4 Lengths). Go Shirvo Go, Blackpool Flyer and Usara Allen collided approaching the first turn, checking Usara Allen. Go Shirvo Go and Usara Allen collided several times on the home turn. Go Shirvo Go raced wided entering the home straight, causing Usara Allen to race wide. Oakmont Fury was vetted and after being re-vetted following event four, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triangle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr Shaun Colson, the representative of Ball Of Steel regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Ball Of Steel last raced on 19 Jan 18. Mr Colson stated that the greyhound had changed kennels.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Da End, a post race blood sample was subsequently taken.

Mema Wibble was slow to begin. Mini Fernando and Da End collided soon after the start, checking Mini Fernando. Ball Of Steel, Da End and Miami Fernando collided on the first turn, checking Miami Fernando and Da End. Lonnie Mach checked off Chapta Lee approaching the home turn. Mema Wibble raced wide entering the home straight. Chapta Lee crossed to the outside entering the home straight, and collided with Lonnie Mach and Moon Phase. 

Undetectable was a late scratching at 4:41 PM on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to pyrexia (elevated temperature). A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Trium and Katlin were slow to begin. Popowski and Dutch Legacy collided approaching the first turn. No Excuse, Crump's Princess and Mepunga Bella collided approaching the first turn, checking Crump's Princess. Stewards spoke to Mr Michael Myer, the trainer of Onya Teddy regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Onya Teddy last raced on 20 Jan 18. Mr Meyer stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a back injury.

Onya Teddy and Gin Lee's Bullet collided approaching the first turn, causing Onya Teddy to stumble and lose ground. Zipping Oliver, Gin Lee's Bullet and Dazzling Liesel collided on the first turn, checking Zipping Oliver. Bageera, Zipping Oliver and Mr. Moonlight raced wide in the home straight. 

Onya Teddy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a torn dewclaw to the right foreleg, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Marlucky Day was quick to begin. Why Not Grace, Ben Roman and Macfid Magic were slow to begin. Bottoms Up and Pandora's Proof collided approaching the first turn, checking Pandora's Proof. Blackpool Alexis was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right thigh, a 3 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr Murry Collyer, the trainer of Spring Ace regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Spring Ace last raced on 23 Dec 17. Mr Collyer stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following extended spell.

Stewards spoke to Mr Murry Collyer after the greyhound Spring Ace was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process. Mr Collyer was reminded when kennelling he ensures greyhounds are kennelled in accordance with kennel procedure. 

Stewards spoke to kennel attendant, Mr Tony Dempsey after the greyhound Spring Ace was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process. Mr Dempsey was reminded of his responsibilities and asked to ensure that all greyhounds are correctly kennelled in future. This matter was referred to the Club Manager for further consideration. 

This race was delayed by 1.30 minutes due to waiting for a harness race at Tokyo City Keiba to finish.

Scott Cosmic and Eden Lass were slow to begin. Bronelly Spike, Wishing Angel and Jesterday collided on the first turn, checking Wishing Angel. Bronelly Spike and Jesterday collided approaching the home turn, checking Jesterday. Scott Cosmic checked off Wishing Angel on the home turn and raced wide. Merl's Angel checked off Spring Ace entering the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr Tim Stainer, the representative of Sobered Up regarding the manner in which the greyhound was boxed. Stewards noted the reason Sobered Up was difficult to box and advised Mr Stainer that his technique when boxing greyhounds needs to be improved. 

In The Net, Destini Echo and Miss Gypsy Lee were slow to begin. Storm Search and Colluding collided approaching the first turn, checking Storm Search. Alina Grand, Ernie's Legacy and Destini Agitator collided on the first turn, checking Ernie's Legacy. Destini Agitator crossed to the rail approaching the home turn, checking Alina Grand. Ernie's Legacy galloped on the heels of Alina Grand approaching the home turn, severely checking Alina Grand. 

Destini Echo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right back muscle, a 60 day stand down period was imposed. 

Alina Grand was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Just Like Didda was slow to begin. Winlock Rose and Aston Amore collided soon after the start, checking Aston Amore. Winlock Casper and Quen Bale collided approaching the home turn, checking Quen Bale. Winlock Casper, Winlock Rose and Just Like Didda raced wide on the home turn. Winlock Rose crossed to the rail in the home straight, checking Just Like Didda.
