Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr Murry Collyer, the trainer of Spring Ace regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Spring Ace last raced on 23 Dec 17. Mr Collyer stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following extended spell.
Stewards spoke to Mr Murry Collyer after the greyhound Spring Ace was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process. Mr Collyer was reminded when kennelling he ensures greyhounds are kennelled in accordance with kennel procedure.
Stewards spoke to kennel attendant, Mr Tony Dempsey after the greyhound Spring Ace was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process. Mr Dempsey was reminded of his responsibilities and asked to ensure that all greyhounds are correctly kennelled in future. This matter was referred to the Club Manager for further consideration.
This race was delayed by 1.30 minutes due to waiting for a harness race at Tokyo City Keiba to finish.
Scott Cosmic and Eden Lass were slow to begin. Bronelly Spike, Wishing Angel and Jesterday collided on the first turn, checking Wishing Angel. Bronelly Spike and Jesterday collided approaching the home turn, checking Jesterday. Scott Cosmic checked off Wishing Angel on the home turn and raced wide. Merl's Angel checked off Spring Ace entering the home straight.
