Steward's Report
Broadway Belle was a late scratching at 5:08 pm, due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr Paul Mathieson was fined the sum of $100.
A pre-race sample was taken from Terry Towelling.
Destini Ferrari was slow to begin. Gin Lee's Bullet and Zipping King collided approaching the first turn, checking Zipping King. Chasing James checked off Rock It Ronny approaching the home turn. Zipping King and Rock It Ronny collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight, checking Rock It Ronny. Gin Lee's Bullet and Hard Luck Story collided approaching the winning post.
Rock It Ronny was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound had shown some minor evidence of mild cramp. No stand down period was imposed.
