Steward's Report
The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Bomber's Return and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 5:05 pm, due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr Geoffrey Green was fined the sum of $100.
A pre-race sample was taken from Mighty Hazza.
Cruisy's Lil crossed to the inside soon after the start, checking Remain Seated, Mighty Hazza and Cloud Cover. Hit Me Up and Dyna Greg collided approaching the first turn, checking Hit Me Up. Hit Me Up clipped the heels of Dyna Greg collided approaching the home turn. Cruisy's Lil clipped the heels of My Mate Wally on the home turn. Hit Me Up and Remain Seated raced wide in the home straight.
