Elle's Toy was quick to begin. Punch Out and Her Hope Chapta were slow to begin.
Punch Out, Not Practical and Deep Creek Girl collided approaching the first turn, checking Not Practical. Punch Out, Destini Peso and Her Hope Chapta collided on the first turn. Not Practical contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground as a result.
Not Practical was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained bruising to both left limbs and lacerations to both hind legs. A five-day stand down period was imposed.
