Ohio Fernando and Miss Lana Bear collided approaching the home turn, checking Kaya's Pearl, Hair Trigger and Miss Lana Bear. Kaya's Pearl checked off Miss Lana Bear entering the home straight.

Mia's Toy and Gunmetal Elise were slow to begin.

Miss Jacky and Shore Money collided on the first turn, checking Sarah Smirnoff, and Shore Money which faltered and lost ground as a result. Mia's Toy and Dyna Carl collided approaching the home turn. Sara's Sox and Shore Money collided approaching the home. Sirius Matters raced ungenerously entering the home straight. Gunmetal Elise checked off Shore Money entering the home straight. Gunmetal Elise was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury. No veterinary stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Jason Formosa, the trainer of the greyhound Gunmetal Elise. Stewards deemed the performance of Gunmetal Elise unsatisfactory in this event (on the home turn) and acting in accordance with GAR 71, directed that Gunmetal Elise must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Shore Money was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a carpal sprain to the left wrist and lacerations to the hind legs. A ten-day veterinary stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Ms Sheila Donlon, the trainer of the greyhound Shore Money. Stewards deemed the performance of Shore Money unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, directed that Shore Money must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Sirius Matters was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained lacerations to the left hind leg. No veterinary stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Bevan Grey regarding the greyhound's racing manners. Mr Grey acknowledged the Stewards concerns and advised that Sirius Matters is immature, inexperienced and "raced greenly" approaching the home turn. Stewards noted the explanation and given the minor nature of the incident, no further action was warranted or taken.

Punt Road Girl was quick to begin. Bluey Can Fly and Inga Ross were slow to begin.

A ten-day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Jason Formosa, the trainer of the greyhound Gunmetal James.  Stewards deemed the performance of Gunmetal James unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, directed that Gunmetal James must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted. Mr Formosa indicated that the greyhound may be retired pending confirmation of rehoming.

Villy Mac Pizazz was slow to begin. Buddie's Al was very slow to begin (3L).

Got Some Zip galloped on Dyna Bella on the first turn, checking Dyna Bella which collided with Buddie's Al and Jen's Magic, checking Got Some Zip and Buddie's Al as a result. Buddie's Al and Jen's Magic collided on the home turn, causing Buddie's Al to race wide.

Macelon, Banana Bubblegum, Nostalgia and Angel's Halo collided on the first turn, checking Nostaglia and Angel's Halo, and severely checking Banana Bubblegum. Macelon raced ungenerously in the home straight.

Banana Bubblegum was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained lacerations to the right wrist and left hock. No veterinary stand down period was imposed.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Chapta Lee trialled over the 400m from box one, weight 28.2kg, the greyhound was placed fourth in a field of four. The time of the trial was 22.82, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 8.25L. Chapta Lee was cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Ms Brooke Berry, the trainer of Miracle Gem, regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Miracle Gem last raced on 14 November 2016. Ms Berry stated that the greyhound had been recovering from a toe amputation. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Miracle Gem trialled over the 400m from box three, weight 26.7kg, the greyhound was placed third in a field of four. The time of the trial was 22.82, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 7.5L. Miracle Gem was cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Magic Vogue trialled over the 400m from box seven, weight 27.7kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of four. The time of the trial was 22.82, the greyhound won by a margin of 5L. Magic Vogue was cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Iris Allen trialled over the 460m from box one, weight 27.8kg, the greyhound was placed third in a field of four. The time of the trial was 26.00, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 8.75L. Iris Allen was cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Night King trialled over the 460m from box three, weight 36.0kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of four. The time of the trial was 26.00, the greyhound won by a margin of 6.75L. Night King was cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Stormy Seas trialled over the 460m from box six, weight 26.6kg, the greyhound was placed second in a field of four. The time of the trial was 26.00, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 6.75L. Stormy Seas was cleared.
