Steward's Report
Bushman's Billy was quick to begin. Fox Boxer was slow to begin. Piper's Unicorn and Big Barra collided approaching the first turn, checking Piper's Unicorn. Chloe Crumpet, Fabulous Cash and Iroquois Sharman collided on the first turn, checking Fabulous Cash and Iroquois Sharman. Fox Boxer and Piper's Unicorn lost ground and took no competitive part in the event.
Fox Boxer was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a minor sandburn to the left hindleg paw. No stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Peter Dunlevey, the trainer of the greyhound Fox Boxer. Stewards deemed the performance of Fox Boxer unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Fox Boxer must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Piper's Unicorn was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a minor sandburn to the right hindleg paw and a minor laceration to the left foreleg, a three day stand down period was imposed

Stewards deemed the performance of Piper's Unicorn unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Piper's Unicorn must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
