Steward's Report
A pre race sample was taken from Crazy Jo Jo.
Scarecrow Tiger and Ivanka Rose collided soon after the start. Scarecrow Tiger, Full Of Boloney and Ivanka Rose collided on the first turn. Fast Freddie eased on the first turn and collided with Big Rough. Fast Freddie and Big Rough raced wide in the home straight.
Stewards spoke to Mr P Hammerstein ,the handler of the greyhound Fast Freddie regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn. Fast Freddie was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left quadriceps muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Fast Freddie with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Hammerstein pleaded guilty to the charge, Fast Freddie was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
