Steward's Report
A pre race sample was taken from Sazana.
Ottis Bale and Mt View Gift collided approaching the first turn, checking Mt View Gift. Ottis Bale and Sazana collided on the first turn. Ottis Bale faltered approaching the home turn. Lektra Elsa raced wide on the home turn.
Ottis Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hock and was humanley euthanised.
Stewards spoke to Mr M Jones regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Destini Echo. Stewards directed that Destini Echo be boxed first in future events.
There was a delay to All Clear to enable Stewards to view footage of the race after it was noticed the racing jacket on Destini Echo had moved forward. Stewards were of the opinion the greyhound was not impeded and All Clear was notified.
