A pre-race sample was taken from Cricket's Dash.
Luna Evening, Mister Brown, Rockalot and Our Charlie Rose collided approaching the first turn checking Our Charlie Rose. Our Bravo Rose, Lottie Biscotti and Cricket's Dash collided on the first turn checking Cricket's Dash and Rockalot. Rockalot was checked off Cricket's Dash approaching the home turn. Mister Brown and Cricket's Dash collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds. Our Charlie Rose marred Mister Brown in the home straight. Mister Brown and Our Charlie Rose collided approaching the winning post.
Our Charlie Rose was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Stewards spoke to Mrs. S. Chignell the representative of the greyhound Our Charlie Rose regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1) Stewards charged Our Charlie Rose with marring. Mrs. Chignell pleaded guilty to the charge, Our Charlie Rose was found guilty and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at Traralogn and it was directed that the greyhound perfom a statisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
