Destini Duchess was quick to begin.  Far Welsh and Armand Bale were slow to begin.  Armand Bale checked off Slingshot Sassy soon after the start.  Slingshot Jake, Pat Malone, Slingshot Sassy and Zipping Brandy collided approaching the first turn.  Armand Bale contacted the running rail on the first turn.  Zipping Hazel, Slingshot Jake and Pat Malone collided heavily on the first turn causing Slingshot Jake to fall.  Far Welsh and Slingshot Sassy collided on the first turn.  Zipping Brandy crossed to the outside and raced wide approaching the home turn.  Zipping Hazel and Pat Malone collided approaching the home turn.  Far Welsh and Slingshot Sassy collided approaching the home turn.  Far Welsh checked off Slingshot Sassy approaching the home turn.  Zipping Hazel and Pat Malone collided on the home turn.  Far Welsh and Armand Bale collided on the home turn.  Armand Bale tired in the home straight.

Stewards inspected the racing surface in the vicinity of the first turn where Slingshot Jake fell.  Stewards deemed the surface safe and suitable for racing.

Slingshot Jake was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right quadriceps muscle.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Armand Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left back muscle.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Graphite County and Yanly Bale were slow to begin.  Treasure Keeper checked off Dyna Zoron soon after the start.  Graphite County checked off Yanly Bale on the first turn.  Yanly Bale checked off Treasure Keeper approaching the home turn.  Graphite County and Yanly Bale collided several times approaching the home turn.  Pius Thicknesse galloped on the heels of Lady Pippa approaching the home turn.  Kirby's Rose checked off Pius Thicknesse on the home turn checking Treasure Keeper.  Yanly Bale checked off Treasure Keeper in the home straight.  Lady Pippa and Pius Thicknesse collided approaching the winning post.

Destini Galaxy and Dyna Raze were quick to begin.  Amber's Wish was slow to begin.  Bombora Rocket and Rosie Glenda collided soon after the start.  Bombora Rocket checked off Rosie Glenda on the first turn.  Splish Splash and Dyna Alistair collided on the first turn.  Destini Galaxy and Dyna Raze collided on the first turn.  St. Regis and Dyna Alistair collided on the first turn.  Bombora Rocket checked off Amber's Wish approaching the home turn.  Splish Splash and St. Regis collided approaching the home turn.  Bombora Rocket checked off St. Regis in the home straight.

Mr. M. Delbridge, the kennel representative of Loroupe declared a new weight of 27.5kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Loroupe last raced at 26.4kgs.

Broken Axle was slow to begin.  Kiss Me Razley and Fred Regis collided soon after the start checking Fred Regis.  Rippa Regis and Loroupe collided approaching the first turn checking Loroupe.  Dyna Alley checked off Kiss Me Razley on the first turn checking Rippa Regis.  Loroupe and Fred Regis collided approaching the home turn.  Dyna Alley raced wide in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Briganti, the kennel representative of Red Rocks regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Red Rocks last raced on 23rd July, 2017.  Mr. Briganti stated that Red Rocks was returning to race after being on season.

Lizzy Allen crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Zambora Pride and severely checking Rock'em Elvis; Rock'em Elvis fell as a result.  Our Didda and Down Mexico Way collided approaching the first turn.  Expecto Patronum faltered on the first turn and lost ground as a result.  Expecto Patronum and Our Didda collided on the first turn checkng both greyhounds.  Ruby Rads and Down Mexico Way collided on the home turn.

Expecto Patronum was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right back muscle.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Rock'em Elvis was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Nolen's Fortune and Mr Perfect were slow to begin.  Zipping Megan, Dyna Danna and Six Green Thumbs collided soon after the start checking Dyna Danna.  Unique Replica faltered approaching the first turn and lost considerable ground as a result.  Six Green Thumbs checked off Hedwig in the home straight.  Hedwig checked off Trianna in the home straight.  Hedwig clipped the heels of Trianna in the home straight.  Hedwig and Trianna collided approaching the winning post.  Nolen's Fortune raced wide in the home straight.

Unique Replica was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 8, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left wrist.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Midnight Hero and Not Loitering were quick to begin.  Go Didda Go was slow to begin.  Mepunga Billy and Jaclyn Bale collided several times approaching the first turn.  No Passengers and Not Loitering collided approaching  the first tuirn.  Xenon Bale checked off Mepunga Billy on the first turn.  Mepunga Billy checked off Not Loitering on the first turn checking Hold On Belena.  Not Loitering crossed to the outside and inconvenienced Go Didda Go on the first turn; both greyhounds raced wide as a result.  Jaclyn Bale checked off No Passengers in the home straight.  Mepunga Billy and Hold On Belena collided in the home straight.

Tiarna Keeping was quick to begin.  Hogwarts Express was slow to begin.  Allen Optic, Dyna Elvo and Hogwarts Express collided approaching the first turn checking Gunmetal Rebel.  Invasion checked off Louie Lasagna approaching the first turn.  Trixta Rox checked off Invasion entering the home straight.

Allen Optic was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left trapezius muscle.  A seven day stand down period was imposed.

King Royale and Zipping Lance were slow to begin.  King Royale and Coco Spectre collided soon after the start checking King Royale.  Coco Spectre checked off Apache Bro approaching the first turn.  Destini Comet, Apache Bro and Dyna Yella collided on the first turn checking Apache Bro and Coco Spectre.  Apache Bro checked off Coco Spectre approaching the home turn.  King Royale shifted out, eased and collided several times with Dyna Yella approaching the home turn to the home turn; Dyna Yella was inconvienianced and both greyhounds raced wide as a result.  Destini Comet tired over the concluding stages of the event.  Hit Me Up and Zipping Lance raced wide in the home straight.

Destini Comet was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left quadriceps muscle.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

King Royale was vetted following this race and after being re-vetted following race 11, it was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Brennan, the representative of the greyhound King Royale regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the home turn.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1)  Stewards charged King Royale with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. Brennan pleaded guilty to the charge.  King Royale was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Captain Marvel was a late scratching at 4:29pm due to injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Doran's Echo was quick to begin.  Doorkeeper went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  Eden Lass was very slow to begin (7 lengths).  Doorkeeper checked off Dorringo Bale on the first turn.  Dorrigo Bale checked off White Ambush on the home turn.

Unmid Bale and July Allen were quick to begin.  Zipping Dash and Pomp Fiction collided soon after the start checking Pomp Fiction.  July Allen and Minnie Wizard collided soon after the start checking Minnie Wizard.  Ripsaw Ronny and Break The Code collided approaching the first turn checking Break The Code.  Pomp Fiction contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground as a result.  Zipping Dash raced wide on the home turn.  July Allen and Liam collided on the home turn.  Break The Code and Pomp Fiction collided in the home straight.  Liam and Unmid Bale collided approaching the winning post.

Pomp Fiction was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Last Outlaw and She's Wicked were slow to begin.  Supreme Prince checked off Kalani Amy approaching the first turn checking She's Wicked and Emi's Boy Murph.  Last Outlaw, Supreme Prince and Possibly collided on the first turn checking Supreme Prince.  Kilty Jewel checked off Kalani Amy on the first turn.  Rosacky Blitz, Emi's Boy Murph and Possibly collided approaching the home turn checking Rosacky Blitz and Possibly.  She's Wicked crossed to the outside approaching the home turn checking Rosacky Blitz, Emi's Boy Murph and Possibly.  She's Wicked and Emi's Boy Murph collided on the home turn and again approaching the winning post.
