This race was delayed approximately 1 minute to allow a Manawatu harness race finish.
Amazon Warrior was slow to begin. Marvelette, Racecourse Road and Money Dud collided soon after the start. Racecourse Road checked off Money Dud approaching the first turn, checkig Racecourse Road. Bevview Bullet checked off Crackerjack Jim in the home straight.
Marvelette was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hindleg toe injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Racecourse Road was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
The photo finish photo failed to load for this event. After viewing the Judge's backup system, acting on their own observations and viewing the video replay the all clear was given on the placings 2 - 6 - 7 - 3. Subsequent to the all clear, the Judge's established that the photofinish photo had been taken and was loaded onto Fasttrack.
