Steward's Report
Pavarotti was quick to begin. Masked Belle and Cawbourne Lambo were slow to begin and collided soon after the start. Little Big Chief, Gotta Be Better, Daintree Rose and Big Papa collided approaching the first turn checking Daintree Rose; Daintree Rose checked Cawbourne Lambo causing both greyhounds to fall as a result. Big Papa and Little Big Chief collided on the first turn.
Cawbourne Lambo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a lumbo-sacral injury and a laceration to its left hind leg (below stifle). A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Daintree Rose was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions and a spike wound to its left hind leg and an injury to its lumbro-sacral region. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
