Rockafella and Arolok Beauty were quick to begin.
Bomber Pride crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Elle's Hope and Ashanti Regal. Elle's Hope, Ashanti Regal and Trish The Dish collided approaching the first turn checking Elle's Hope and Ashanti Regal and severely checking Trish The Dish which stumbled and lost ground as a result. Rockafella checked off Arolok Beauty entering the home straight checking Bomber Pride.
Trish The Dish was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left coupling. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
