Steward's Report

Diamond Katie was slow to begin.
Hurrying Bye crossed to the rails soon after the start checking Perfect Nina, Cool Cool Charm, Little Shiraz, Chocolyn Chaser and Diamond Katie. Kadina Wonder checked off Hurrying Bye approaching the first turn. Kadina Wonder, Diamond Katie and Perfect Nina collided approaching the home turn checking Kadina Wonder, Diamond Katie, Chocolyn Chaser and Cool Cool Charm. Little Shiraz eased in the home straight and collided with Chocolyn Chaser as a result. Hurrying Bye eased approaching the winning post.
Little Shiraz was vetted  following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left coupling and the right shoulder, a 10 stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(5), the stewards charged Little Shiraz with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(6),  before any future nomination will be accepted.
Hurrying Bye was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left thigh. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. C.Stanton , the trainer of the greyhound Hurrying Bye. Stewards deemed the performance of Hurrying Bye unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that [Insert greyhound name] must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
